Three aventures climbed into the old truck. The one parked next to an equally old jeep. The steering wheel moved back and forth as his little hands drove to “work”. “I need some music”, he said. “Can you go get your phone? I want to listen to music on my way to work.” For the moment three Brothers were on the grandest adventure. The kind where time stands still for a moment. The sun was slowly setting behind them. Pretty soon mom came out and called to them, “time for bed boys.” She smiled as she saw them playing in the same old rigs she played in as a little girl. Visiting the cabin is a tradition that is being passed down from generation to generation. Here where the creek runs by, the birds are constantly singing their songs, where the camp fire crackles and memories are made. Here at the cabin.

These two are the cutest brother and sister duo. Don’t you love their happy faces and laughter. I love it so much. They were so great too. They didn’t mind hugging or taking pictures together a bit. My Miss Maya had to get in on a few cousin pictures too since she is a cousin. So keep your eye open for her purple coat, and have a happy day friends!

Rub a dub dub, my 4th grand baby session in this tub! And who do you think he be? Tyson James, my snuggly wuggly little grand baby. Oh how I love this little man. He is so quick to smile. His little eyes shine with a sweet sensitivity that says, I have a really really big heart. He gives the snuggliest hugs, but he is also growing into a big boy. He is following two big brothers as fast as he can. At this session he was crawling like a champ trying to keep up with everyone. Mommy just called me today and told me Tyson is off to the races, he has taken his first steps! I can’t wait to see for myself. He is coming to visit me soon. He and his brothers are 3 of my very favorite people on planet earth. Be still my Grammy heart, just look at all the cuteness and all of the bubbles!

This little peanut is one of my favorite people on planet earth, and she is already one! Little Miss, as her family sometimes calls her is beginning to explore her world around her. She is walking and getting into baby mischief as much as possible. She loves it when her Daddy chases her up the stairs in their house. In fact she will call over the rail to him to make sure he notices where she is. She loves reading books with Mommy any time and all the time. Mommy has begun to teach her the animal sounds, and so far she likes the sound the sheep makes the best. Every animal says baaaaah, then she will say the other sound. She loves to play in the sprinkler on her patio. Water is a favorite right now. As you can see here she loves the frosting more than the cake. She also really felt she should use a fork, as food should be eaten with utensils. Oh how I love this little munchkin. Miss Ellie B as I like to call her. I am her Grammy Debbie, and I am so excited for the mischief we will get into together! Happy Birthday Elinor!!!

This little cutie is my granddaughter. She is sooo adorable. Catching her and mommy and all of the fun expressions in this session is my absolute favorite thing. Time flies by and Elinor will only be this little for a short while. Pretty soon she is going to be a big sister. Her little brother is growing bigger and bigger in mommy’s tummy. Aren’t these two so cute! Grammy thinks so!

Birthdays are exciting! Maybe one of the most exciting things about being little. Lilly turned 3 and she is having the time of her life. She loves to play and run and jump. She loves her mommy and daddy and her baby sister Emma.

The stars of the show for this day were 3 little girls. The setting, McEuen Park, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and the moment a family getting together, and we were off. We started right where we stepped into the park. Three cousins excited to see each other, were ready to hug and twirl and run and laugh, and the rest of us just had to keep up with the moment.
I loved their smiles and delight as they played together. There were some funny face moments too. In my opinion it’s boring to always have to smile, and boring just isn’t that much fun. My favorite is when everyone sticks their tongues out, it leads to some pretty good laughs.
Next we walked to a big field and out came the kites. The kites were a great idea by mom, with the help of their parents each girl set up their new kite. Then began the running, the twirling, the shouting, the laughing and even a couple of tears. Yes tears, because this is life style after all, and sometimes in life the kite just doesn’t quite do what you want it to.
I loved watching this family have fun together. The grown-ups running to help untangle a kite, giving out hugs where they were needed, and enjoying the moment with the girls. My favorite was the race. I love having a race in my sessions. I have to say though, that Grandma surprised me here and was one of the fastest and most competitive. It makes my heart happy to see everyone have fun even Grandma.
When we finished the session the girls ran off to play on the toys, then they were off to have lunch all together. The session may end, but the moment carries on.
I’m thankful to know these happy hearts and to have had the opportunity to do this session.
