A wedding is one of the most joyous occasions. This group was definitely full of happiness, delight, good times and even a little silliness. They gathered together in a very small family group and celebrated Jory and Kiara’s big day. Grayson of course stole some of the attention being such a cutie. It was a beautiful day even though the rain tried to make an entrance too. It only lasted a moment, but the wedding went on just as if it never came. Laughter lifting to the tops of the trees as they enjoyed their time together.

Bill and Barbara decided to renew their vows after 34 years of marriage. It was such a beautiful little service. I loved getting to be in the background listening. Barbara prepared a scripture passage for each family member to read. They took turns reading their Bible passages and speaking blessings over each other. I can’t imagine a more meaningful thing for a family to come together and do. It was absolutely beautiful. Bill and Barbara had the biggest smiles for their big day. I loved watching them look in each other’s eyes. Their hearts one heart after so many years together. Bill laughed and smiled and Barbara had the most sweet humble spirit. I really enjoyed getting to know them even if it was just for a moment. Such a beautiful family.

My good friend Melissa texted me not long ago. I’ve lost weight and I fit in my wedding dress!!! Can you take our pictures, because we didn’t get to do outdoor wedding photos when we got married? Of course the first thing I said was woohoo way to go, and what did you do to loose weight?! Then I said sure lets do this! So, here they are after 11 years of marriage, still madly in love. As you look through their pictures imagine their song playing.
At last, Etta James
At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah
At last the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill I’ve never known, oh yeah
You smiled, you smiled oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in Heaven
For you are mine at last

Family, friends and Geocachers gathered on either side of a small creek in Rathdrum, Idaho, as Bill and Jen said, “I do.” Their love for each other and their close close friendship was evident in their huge smiles. These two are adventurers at heart. One of their favorite past times is Geocaching. They even made their own Geocache to be found by anyone who dares to adventure out and find it. I love how their wedding was uniquely theirs with little hints of who they are as a couple through out the day.

Two hearts intwined as one beating heart yet separate and so different all at the same time. Isn’t that what marriage is? A partnership where you know the other person almost as well as you know yourself. Your love growing deeper year by year as you laugh together, struggle together, sometimes disagree and other times decide that you are the only two on earth that do agree. The differences as well as the similarities making your marriage unique. The way that coming home to someone who knows you that well at the end of day just feels good. Today was a day to celebrate their unique one of a kind love, friendship and marriage.
Jason and Claire’s anniversary party was a grand get together of family and friends. A time for laughter and story sharing between loved ones. A time to remember the beginning. A beautiful moment on a pleasant afternoon full of sweetness and laughter and conversation, and all for two hearts that fell in love.

The Temple stood beautiful in the light of the day. Walter stood in the grass waiting for his beautiful bride to walk around the corner. Jaleyna walked excitedly toward her groom. She tapped his shoulder and he turned to see her. I love this moment. The moment they see each other for the first time. They were both gorgeous. The day unfolded beautifully with friends and family surrounding them on their special day.

Hand in hand, heart to heart, they walked through the park in Spokane Washington. Walter and Jaleyna are getting married soon. They are ready for forever together. The light in her eyes as she looks at him, and the tenderness with which he looks at her is evident in their session. These two are meant to be, and in just a short time it will be the day they say, “I do” to each other.

Love is two tiny seeds planted deep inside two hearts. As it begins to take root it shoots out tiny tendrils all through the soul. These vines curl and twist eventually catching on to the other person’s soul vines. Together they shoot up creating one single tree. Two loves, two starts, become one tree. As the tree grows through out life it will twist and turn it will grow great limbs. With care and tending it will become a beautiful solid oak. To separate the vines that began is impossible without harming the tree, and this is the beauty and the pain of love. The two will become one (Mark 10:8).
Congratulations Mitch and Lexy may your journey be full of adventures together, may your love grow into a grand oak and may your love be blessed by the presence of the Lord in you midst.
