Bill and Barbara decided to renew their vows after 34 years of marriage. It was such a beautiful little service. I loved getting to be in the background listening. Barbara prepared a scripture passage for each family member to read. They took turns reading their Bible passages and speaking blessings over each other. I can’t imagine a more meaningful thing for a family to come together and do. It was absolutely beautiful. Bill and Barbara had the biggest smiles for their big day. I loved watching them look in each other’s eyes. Their hearts one heart after so many years together. Bill laughed and smiled and Barbara had the most sweet humble spirit. I really enjoyed getting to know them even if it was just for a moment. Such a beautiful family.

Derek and Maggie are some of my favorite people. I love how much fun they have together. They are always laughing and smiling when I see them. I’ve also seen them have a servants heart for their friends. So, it’s always fun when I get to meet up with them and do a session. They have a love that I enjoy capturing in photos.

My good friend Melissa texted me not long ago. I’ve lost weight and I fit in my wedding dress!!! Can you take our pictures, because we didn’t get to do outdoor wedding photos when we got married? Of course the first thing I said was woohoo way to go, and what did you do to loose weight?! Then I said sure lets do this! So, here they are after 11 years of marriage, still madly in love. As you look through their pictures imagine their song playing.
At last, Etta James
At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah
At last the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill I’ve never known, oh yeah
You smiled, you smiled oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in Heaven
For you are mine at last

Family, friends and Geocachers gathered on either side of a small creek in Rathdrum, Idaho, as Bill and Jen said, “I do.” Their love for each other and their close close friendship was evident in their huge smiles. These two are adventurers at heart. One of their favorite past times is Geocaching. They even made their own Geocache to be found by anyone who dares to adventure out and find it. I love how their wedding was uniquely theirs with little hints of who they are as a couple through out the day.

A small breeze rustled through the trees. Winding its way through the majestic pines. While the sun began warming the earth for the day. Lexy was busily getting ready in her childhood home. While Mitch and the guys hung at the venue. In no time at all, Lexy waited in a small meadow while Mitch approached blindfolded for their first look. They stood side by side waiting excitedly to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. They turned and looked at each other, excitement, appreciation and love flashed across their faces. That was how the day started and from there on the day unfolded like a beautiful dream. The clouds floated by and the sun smiled down as the two joined together for a life of happily ever after.
