“Family isn’t an important thing. It’s everything.” – Michael J Fox
This was just another day, but then again it wasn’t. In the wise words of Winnie the Pooh, “We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.” The path was golden covered in leaves that had floated to the ground, perfectly soft for cartwheels in the woods. A pear tree stood alone in a clearing with just enough pears for two little girls to eat. They pointed out the best ones while their Dad reached for them. Being tall has advantages when there are pears to be had. Some how the pears were still perfect, ready to be eaten. A little further down the path an apple tree stood waiting to be noticed. Giggles filled the crisp air when the girls decided to warm their hands on mom’s tummy. Mom was quick to escape the tiny cold hands. Luckily the day wasn’t cold, just crisp like an autumn day should be. There were still trees to be climbed and adventures to be had, piggy back rides to give and cozy warm hugs to accept. A perfectly pleasant afternoon, and by the end we had caught up on the time in between visits. We also had tons of beautiful moments to choose from for their session.
“There are two gifts we should give our children; one is roots, and the other is wings.” -The Motivated Mama
